The Tainan Campus is more than just a manufacturing facility. It is a 4,500—square—meter testament to what’s possible when innovation meets environmental responsibility.
Recognized with the prestigious National Golden Award for Architecture, the Tainan Campus was designed from the ground up with sustainability at its core.
Every stage of its lifecycle from construction to daily operations is designed to minimize environmental impact.
Powered by 100% Renewable Energy
A defining feature of the Tainan Campus is its commitment to clean energy. The facility operates entirely on renewable electricity, thanks to the 2,000 solar panels installed on—site.
These panels generate not only enough power to meet all operational needs but also produce a 50% surplus each year, feeding clean energy back into the grid and amplifying our positive environmental impact.
Energy efficiency goes beyond solar power. The facility’s design maximizes the use of natural sunlight, with 65% of workspaces illuminated by daylight, reducing the need for artificial lighting and further cutting energy consumption. The production line itself spans 14,000 meters and is constructed from sustainable materials, reflecting our holistic approach to sustainability.
Over 50% of the Tainan Campus is dedicated to green space, with more than 40,000 shrubs and trees planted as part of our nature conservation efforts. By preserving native vegetation and wildlife habitats, we contribute to local biodiversity and offer a model for sustainable industrial development.
Water is a precious resource, and at Intenza’s Tainan Campus, we ensure it is used responsibly. Our advanced wastewater recycling system treats and reuses 52% of the water consumed during manufacturing. This recycled water also nourishes the trees and plants to support the local ecosystem.
Sustainability doesn’t stop at our facility’s doorstep. Intenza’s cardio equipment is engineered for energy efficiency, consuming less than 0.5 watts in energy—saving mode. For example, our bikes feature innovative three—way hybrid generators that harness electricity from user activity, further reducing reliance on external power sources and lowering the carbon footprint of every workout.
